• Pizza Hut supports Philippine Athlete for forhcoming Southeast Asian Games

February 18, 2010 – P2.1 million donations was tuned over to UN – World Food Programme Philippines. Pizza Hut endorser Diether Ocampo and his right WFP Country Director Stephen Anderson with VP-Marketing Elaine V. Guzman and District Manager Yeyel Hererra joined forces with Pizza Hut and Taco Bell volunteers along with DSWD to support Relief Operations in Bay Laguna affected by Typhoons. The team dispersed tons of bags of corn soya and cooking oil in the actual distribution which will be use for feeding children. In addition Diether Ocampo distributed bags, supplies, and read story to kids at the venue

A mother accepted a ration of corn soya and cooking oil from WFP Country Director Stephen Anderson and DSWD Regional Director Honorita Bayudan during the supplementary food distribution. Numerous employees from Pizza Hut and Taco Bell volunteered to assist in the supplementary distribution.

The country’s best athletes were treated to hefty servings of Pizza Hut’s Pinaka – Pizza in preparation for the 24th Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) which will be held from Dec. 6 to 15 in Thailand. The pizza and pasta party delighted the members of the Philippine team right after the first Friday thanksgiving mass recently held for them at the Rizal Memorial stadium.
